To fulfill the concept of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, the Interdisciplinary Program of Engineering (IPE) evokes “late streaming” and “double major.” for the students in the program. The students could take double-majored programs to fit them in two different fields; one field was selected from the College of Engineering, the other from a department in Tsing-hua. Besides, the students in the program could also learn basic engineering knowledge in the first year and select major disciplines among Chemical Engineering, Power Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from the second year without quota limit.

Offering solid courses, the engineering college has a strong faculty and well-equipped experimental facilities. Graduates will have wide-ranging opportunities in their future career. Flexible courses and department selection systems at IPE would be students’ best choice.
