Short Bio
❝　As Chairman of BenQ Materials, Dr. Chen has over 20 years of experience in materials science, electronic components and new business development.
  　Prior to his appointment as Chairman of BenQ Materials in October 2013, Dr. Chen was the Executive Vice President of Darfon Electronics Corp. During his tenure at Darfon, he was assigned various positions responsible for the components business, global manufacturing, new technologies and new business development. Before joining Darfon Electronics (BenQ Group) in 1997, he served as Research Scientist and Product Development Manager at Philips Germany and Philips Taiwan.
　  Dr. Chen is also known for his scientific contribution in piezoelectric and dielectric ceramics with published papers and patents. Dr. Chen received his PhD in Materials Science from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland and his Master’s degree in Materials Science from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA. 　❞
