11420E500100 Seminar
TOPIC
▸ Pathway to Smart Maintenance: Integrating Engineering and Economics Modeling
❝ Many manufacturing firms are interested in smart maintenance but are unsure of its value. This talk presents a practical pathway for evaluating and implementing smart maintenance using simple analytical models. The pathway consists of seven steps that estimate the impact on system performance and return on investment (ROI) using only a few parameters, making it suitable for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with limited data. It also provides alternative improvement strategies for firms not yet ready for smart maintenance. Case studies show that even modest throughput gains can yield significant ROI, supporting more informed and confident investment decisions. ❞
