The College of Engineering course English Reading and Communication for Engineering Students (E300500) will hold its Final Poster Showcase on June 10 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Fan-shaped Plaza on the first floor of Engineering Building I. All students and faculty members are welcome to visit.
This course is designed to strengthen engineering students’ academic English communication skills, with a focus on conference English, classroom discussion, and presentation skills. Throughout the semester, students have practiced communicating technical concepts effectively in English and presenting information to diverse audiences.
For the final showcase, student teams will present academic-style posters on selected engineering and technology topics. The exhibition highlights students’ ability to explain, discuss, and communicate technical ideas in English through poster design and oral presentation, rather than showcasing research results. Visitors are invited to participate in the “Best Poster Popularity Award” vote and support their favorite poster.
Voting Rewards
- Vote and enter a lucky draw for an NTHU Fairy Tale Series Colorful Squirrel Coaster (random color)
- Vote between 12:10 PM and 1:10 PM to receive a complimentary drink (limited to 40 participants, while supplies last)
- If the total number of voters exceeds 60, an additional lucky draw prize—an NTHU Embroidered Panda Cap (random color)—will be added
Take a break from your exams and stop by during lunch to support the students and explore a variety of engaging engineering and technology topics.
